1-929-265-5641PolyLevel® is a state-of-the-art technique for raising sunken concrete slabs, such as walkways, driveways, patios, pool decks, garage aprons, and basement slabs. PolyLevel takes the original concept of mudjacking (slabjacking) and combines it with advanced knowledge and modern technology. Rather than using a mixture of concrete and mud, PolyLevel® utilizes high-density, expanding polyurethane foam to raise slabs, fill voids and strengthen weak soil. Quality 1st Basement Systems is your certified PolyLevel® concrete leveling contractor.

The traditional method of raising settled concrete involves pumping a liquid mortar beneath the settled slab, however, there are several problems with this technique. First, the pumping process can be hard to control. Second, the heavy material used in mudjacking can add additional weight to the already weak soil.
PolyLevel® overcomes many of the challenges of traditional slabjacking. During the PolyLevel® process, the special two-part expanding foam is injected beneath the settled slab. Within a matter of minutes, the expanded polymer hardens and reaches 90% or more of its final strength. This makes it possible for the restored surface to regain full functionality right away.
Step 1: Small 5/8-in. holes are bored through the sunken slab. |
Step 2: An injector port is installed in each hole. |
Step 3: High-density foam is injected into the port, whereupon it expands and lifts the slab. |
Step 4: With the port removed, the holes are cleaned and patched with cement. |
