A Staten Island, NY homeowner had water coming in through her basement walls. The leaks were constant and she could no longer ignore the problem. She wanted her basement to be a place for entertaining, escape, and relaxation but with the wet walls and high humidity it didn't feel like home. Solution

The Quality 1st Basement Systems crew removed the water damaged portion of the drywall. They installed half length EverLast basement walling. EverLast basement walling is made with waterproof materials and redirects water to a basement drain. What the homeowner loved about EverLast was its bright, modern look. On the floors, Quality 1st Basement Systems installed ThermalDry flooring in the color sandstone. ThermalDry has a raised peg design, lifting it from the cold concrete floor. The relative humidity in the basement was abnormally high, which made it easy for nasty mold to grow. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to remove moisture from the air and keep the humidity low and safe.
