Waterproof Walls and Floor Finish Bayside Basement

Challenge

A homeowner in Bayside wanted to convert her wet basement into a finished space. However; the basement flooding had caused damage to the walls and floors. She was not sure how to fix the water issues in her basement and did not want to place any belongings for fear of having them ruined by water in the basement.

Solution

Quality 1st Basement Systems had the solutions for this home! The Quality 1st Basement Systems installation team replaced her old sump pump with a SuperSump sump pump system along with a WaterGuard. These products will drain water from the basement and take it out and away from the home’s foundation. An IceGuard was also installed to ensure pipes will never freeze due to cold weather.

The Quality 1st Basement Systems crew installed EverLast Wall Panels which simultaneously brighten up basements and prevent water damage or mold growth. Then the Quality 1st Basement Systems team installed ThermalDry Floor Matting, which is made of plastic to prevent water damage or mold growth. This flooring comes in a variety of styles and colors to suit homeowners’ individualized tastes. To top it off, the crew placed a SaniDry Air System in the basement to filter and dehumidify the air. The homeowner was so happy with her new finished basement and now has a space to convert into whatever she wishes!
